When We Sing

When we sing we make a place where we belong
And we celebrate this moment in our song
Our strength is multiplied
When we’re singing side by side
We tend the flame within us when we sing

Our song proclaims the fullness of our days
What we suffer, what we love, and what we praise
We consecrate our tears
We rise above our fears
Our hearts rejoice together when we sing
